Hello,
I'm seriously considering an IVA. Can you tell me who the top 3 rated Insolvency Practitioners are?
This is scary!

An impossible question to answer here - especially as I am an Insolvency Practitioner! And I guess it depends on what criteria you are setting.

For reviews on all insolvency firms, and to read feedback from their clients, visit www.iva.com.

Hi Jerome 74 and welcome to the forum

As Melanie suggested, iva.com is a good place to look as you will get reviews on alll the ip's and their companies. The Ip's posting on this site are also a good place to start.
Initial advice should cost nothing so ring a couple and see who you feel comfortable with .

It is scary and making that call is scary but you will feel a grat sense of relief when you do. We are always here for any questions.

All the best and keep us posted.

It would be fun if there was a league table of IPs like those published for schools. But who would choose the rankings and what would they be based on? I certainly would not want the job as I could imagine the arm-twisting and threats would make the Houses of Parliament look like a Boy Scout outing!

Interesting thread !
As mentioned
http://www.iva.com/
is a good place to start your research.
'Each practitioner profile includes independent reviews to help consumers make an informed choice on which IVA Firm and IP will look after them'

Also we often have spontaneous postings about members personal experience with IPs.. a browse through the forum will be enlightening..[:)]
Perhaps

could be helpful.
