Is it normal practice for the IP to forward a copy your annual report as a matter of course?

Hi,

Yes, you should have a copy of the annual report sent to you.

Hi Icjones,

Yes Kallis3 is correct. I just got my Annual Report today (end of 2nd year). Such a relief seeing my IPs comments in black and white 'I can confirm that payments are up to date![:D] My anniversary is in Nov and i sent all my docs and I&E off back then...and since I have waited and waited..every night driving home thinking...will I have a letter on the mat. Although i have never missed a payment had a big problem back in Aug when my car broke down and it cost £900 to repair...had to dig into my bonus pot inlcuidng my creditors half which I used to pay for my car. Wasn't sure how my IP would take it when doing my review. I did phone and explain to my case adminstrator at the time, but no mention of it[:)]today in my annual report. It has greatly installed my faith in IPs that they are really there to see fair play and to try and help you as best they can for you to continue with you IVA to conclusion although I do take the point that i should have phoned them in Aug and asked their permission to dig into that particular bonus....would have saved me a couple of months worry. Glass of wine and a takeawy tonight to celebrate me thinks.

Can I just ask... after our 1st review all we received was a letter stating that payments would remain the same. Should we have received a full report as well

I think they should do - it should show what has happened to the money you have paid in.

Hi Roadrunners,

Not sure on this one. I didn't have a reveiw at the end of my first year.....heard nothing but i did get a copy of the creditors annual report. I was only requested to do a review last Nov (end of second year) and today got the creditors report again but no mention of my I&E. Must say though my disposal income is £20 less than what it was 2 years ago with price rises and everything but i am due a payrise anytime now backed to Aug 08...not massive though will be lucky to see an extra £30 a per which will almost even it out. I am assuming that they are happy with the status quo for me at the moment...unless I get a separate letter

I think IP companys work in slightly different ways

You should recieve a copy of the report that is sent to your creditors listing all the payments received, interest gained on your money, costs to the IVA company etc. If you haven't I suggest you ring and ask for a copy to be sent to you immediately so that you can see what has been distributed already ! we got ours 3 months after the review date.

You should all receive a a copy of your annual report. It is a matter of best practice as well as a requirement of the law.
