Hi all.Been trying to sort all my stuff out for the DMP that Viki is helping me with. Poor Viki I think her ears must be bleeding with me. Just got cold feet and thought about borrowing from peter to pay paul again. Why am i so scared. I ddo worry but am i worrying too much? Im sure the little man who has phoned several times this week from Hfc looking for me doesnt really care about that £45 payment i missed.

Hello Lisae - I completely understand about worrying to much. But borrowing from peter to pay paul wont help & will only make things worse. Sorting your debts through a debt solution is far better than making your debts worse. You have pulled your head out the sand & asked for help & well done for doing that. Any process of sorting your debts its scary - but its better than ignoring them.
I am sure Viki is more than happy to help you. It makes me feel better helping anyone with anything when it comes to it!
I dont know much about DMPs as I am in a IVA, but I am sure a DMP is better than trying to keep on struggling & letting the debt mount up rather than go down.
Keep your chin up (I know its hard) - there is lots of help & support on this forum.

Hi lisae
We are also setting up a dmp (started in December) with Viki and I feel like I'm forever ringing and emailing her! It is scary and although everyone tells me that the letters/phone calls etc are normal I still hate them. We mostly ignore the phone calls now - unless I'm waiting for a specific call and have to pick up. There are lots less now though so hopefully we are getting somewhere. I'm sure Viki will do us both proud!

Viki rescued me in Nov, and I was forever emailing her with loads of questions! She's the best listener ever.
I am now waiting for my creditors meeting.
Don't worry lisae you are in good hands, Viki will do her best for you.

I agree with all of the other posters. Viki will do her best for you, and she won't mind you bothering her with any problems. Much better to get any worries off your chest now.
Please don't go back to robbing Peter to pay Paul, it won't work in the long run.
And of course, we are always here for you whenever you need support.

Dear all thankyou all so much for your advice. Not logged on for a bit as my lovely dog chewed the lap top charger! Also found him with a lightbulb in his mouth that day too! Anyway today i sent off all my stuff to Vincent Bond feel lots better. Had phone call from ex husband to say that MBNA called him asking for my mobile number! That was one of my main concerns that my ex would find out about this. Anyway I was brave and spoke to MBNA told them situation and they were suprisingly ok and offered to do debt managment with them he was very dismissive of IVA companies. I politely told him no ta.

Lisa it's nice to see you being so positive. MBNA are a pain though aren't they? You can always tell ex hubby that they are trying to get you to take out a loan or something.
MBNA would be dismissive of IVA companies, they don't want you to go down that route!
