Hi,
First time poster.
My IP wrote to me last week demanding payment of arrears of £715.00 which came as quite a shock as I send my monthly payment to them every month religoulsy and also include half of all bonuses as soon as I get them.
I queried it over the phone but they couldn't give me a satisfactory answer as to how they came to this figure.
They have since written to me and included figures and my statement for the period they say I am in Arrears and the amount is know £714.60. Having checked it they claim I missed my November 2008 payment, I have been to the bank and they have confirmed that the counter cheque I posted to the IP has been cashed.
I missed a payment in December 2007 because of urgently needed car repairs and they where ok with this and over the course of the last year I have made 3 additional payments to pay back the missed payment and only one of these appears on my statement which is also a concern.
Should I be worried and this seeming lack of good record keeping on the IP's part, is it worth taking my worries to the relevant licensing body.
What do you think?
