i have paid an initial payment to b+e and have not completed my application form yet. i have manned up and told my partner about my problem and we have discussed it. she has decided that she will help pay off my debts by getting a job but is not happy with me getting an iva, as we want to buy a new house together in the near future. we have worked out that we can have my debts down to a reasonable amount so we can get a mortgage in less than 2 years when she goes back to work. will they give me my initial payment back or have i lost it, cheers everyone for all your help, pete

No idea - but you can ask them. Did you sign up for anything? Did they send you their Terms & Conditions?

If you have already missed any payments to your creditors, don't forget that your credit listing may already be marred and these missed payments will be on your record for 6 years, so this may hamper you getting a mortgage in the near future regardless of whether or not you do an IVA.

Hi
If you have signed an agreement form then I feel that you may lose this money. If not then contact them and ask for a refund
