i have a debt with capital one who past it on to a debt collector who past it on again to someone else who i was paying and just got a letter back to say they have past it back to capital one any idea why they would do this

Perhaps they are getting ready to sell the debt on to a third party?
I've really no idea, but I am sure one of the professionals will be able to help.

Were the debt recovery agencies Debitas Legal Services and CapQuest?
