My iva was approved on 23 feb 09.Did not receive any phone calls from any of my creditors before the iva. On thursdays and friday received calls from Additions. I explained on both occasions that my iva was approved on 23 feb and got another call from them today which i did not answer. Is this common practice for your creditor to contact you after the iva was approved. Also keep receiving credit card statements from Capital One where they are still charging me interest plus late payment fee. Thanks

I shouldnt worry, it just takes a while for your acceptance to filter through to the correct department.
If they persist, give them the telephine number of your IP for them to confirm.

Don't worry about the credit card statements - they cannot charge you interest or add charges now your IVA has been approved, so these will have to be removed.

Kallis is right. Only interest up to date of approval will be the debt included within your IVA - so don't worry. It does take time for the paperwork to filter through.

As the others have said don't worry about the statements. I received statements from Littlewoods after my IVA was approved, and they carried on sending them after I went BR.
