Hi, maybe I am being impatient but I cannot get Payplan to answer my emails or return my calls. I sent my paperwork for an IVA on the 8th April and I have sent out the letters to the creditors asking them to accept a reduced payment. Some of my creditors have written back and they have said that we need to maintain the normal payment to avoid arrears until they have received a proposal of payment which they expect to be sent to them within the next 28 days. Has anyone else ever had problems with Payplan not calling back? Thanks

They used to take a while responding to emails but would eventually reply or return a call. I wasn't happy with the way my DMP was being handled by them so stopped using them but that was personnal experience. On the whole they are a respected company I believe.

Hi
Sorry to hear that you are having problems with the creditors.
Have you had an explanation from your case officer as to why the paperwork hasnt been completed as yet?
If so or not, or you would like to have a chat with myself about this to resolve the situation, please call the office and request to speak to myself (I work for Payplan).
This doesnt seem right, and we need to get to know why its taking a time and why nobody has responded to you.

I think you should have heard something by now. If they can't even return your calls at this stage when they are still trying to win your business, what will they be like once they have got it?
I would try contacting someone else. I can personally recomend David Mond (Cleardebt). His team provide excellent service. I understand from other posters on here that Melanie Giles provides an excellent service as well.
You can find contact details for both of them by going to the experts section of this website.
Don't worry about maintaining payments in full, just pay what you can - a token payment. You wouldn't be going down this route if you could afford to pay them in full. You will get letters and phone calls but that is part of the process.
Come back to the forum if you are worried about anything. There are always loads of people around to offer help, support and advice.
Good luck.

Hi Kazz
Good to hear we have an insider who can help.
Karantiggy, I would give Kazz a ring as she suggests. See what she can sort out. Then consider the alernatives if you are not happy.

When you ring the office, as it will be a different department, ask to speak to Kazz in Client Support and they should transfer you to me straight away.
I am keen to resolve this problem like I resolved plynch2002.
Thank you

Hi, this is a message for Kazz (Payplan). I was contacted by Heather from Payplan and she was very helpful and told me our proposal should be posted out to us mid next week. Thank you Kazz
