Hi guys. I have just awoken and picked up my mail to see the instantly recognisable envelope of MBNA!!

I have been in my IVA now for nearly 2 months and these guys are the only ones who dont know how to leave me alone!

The letter is a 'Notice of Sums in Arrears', and it states i owe 109.42 immediately. Surely by now these people must know i am in the agreement?

Has anybody else had this problem. I have forwarded previous letters to my IP and i am still getting the letters!

Stu

Hi
They should know about your IVA by now.
Send the letter to your IP asking for them to contact MBNA.
You could try writing to them yourself with your IVA details or phone them.
Regards

Hi Stuey - it does happen sometimes, unfortunately some companies don't know how to update their systems?!?

Lloyds actually tried to take my hubby to court months after they had agreed to the IVA. It went as far as him receiving the summons and papers etc. We completed the papers with IVA written all over them, included a letter and copy of IVA report. Needless to say we received an apology from the court and Lloyds.

It doesn't stop the worry though does it?

To be honest, if you've already sent letters to your IP and told MBNA, I would shred the letters.

Someone has forgotten to reprogramme the computer!

At least you can rest safe in the knowledge that they can't do anything to you!

Had a letter off mbna the other day. But my iva has only just started so I'll let them off. Hopefully shouldn't get any more as they would know about results of IVA.

Just prior to my creditors meeting, MBNA called as usual, nothing new there, but they did mention that even if the proposal was accepted then it can take up to 2 months for the information to filter through! they asked if they could phone me to find out the result.
