A good way of getting the message across of how you feel about your IVA proposal is to write a review at www.iva.com I thought I would just point this out as there have been a lot of proposals recently.

Best Wishes

I have yet to get my draft proposal but should receive it within the next few days. I will make sure to go through it with a fine tooth comb, before signing it. I am with a reputable company but from what I have learnt from this forum that you really should make sure everything is covered.

It is very important to make sure that your proposal covers everything to suit your circumstances otherwise your iva is starting off on the wrong foot. Good luck with your proposal.

I should have put to write a review when your proposal has been accepted by the creditors.

And remember to write another one after you have completed the IVA. The nominee stage might be 5 weeks but the supervisory stage will be 5 years.

Everyone who goes through this process should be encouraged to at least consider writing a review, whether good, bad or indifferent. As Melanie has suggested, on a different thread, no one individual, or company, is perfect, no matter how hard I, or we, try.

I have read one or two, if not unflattering then certainly with a point or two worth considering, reviews on the iva.com site on a number of firms. It is so easy to become slightly insulated or detached from the real world, because this is what we do all day every day, that the occasional kick up the backside, or at least a gentle nudge to what may be going wrong, is more invaluable than you may imagine.

Regards.

I went through the review form on iva.com today as soon as I received the call I've been waiting for with anxiety and excitement in equal measure. I want to post as many positive reviews for Melanie as possible, but it doesn't look like it posted!?!

Does anyone know if there is an incubation period where someone checks the contents before it is added for public consumption? I'm not sure I could put together such an eloquent summary again, so I hope it wasn't just lost!

I guess I've got 6 years (yeah Northern Rock - grr!) to keep commenting on my IP's performance, so no real hurry.

The reviews are great, as you find out the bad points too. Wish I'd known about them before taking out the IVA .

Hubby wrote a review about his IP and it certainly was unflattering....[}:)]

A number of my clients have mentioned recently that they are leaving feedback on iva.com but that it has not posted. I am looking into this at the moment, as people are leaving things for other IP firms so this does semm a little odd.

I hope you get to the bottom of this one for you have had many acceptances of late and all your clients have been over the moon. I directed one potential client for you on here this morning to look at the reviews about you - there are only two after mine - very odd.

Seems to be working fine at the moment as I've just added my review, which was visible straight away.

Cheers

its a great way of showing others a true reflection of how you feel about your IP and gives new people that are looking at the pros and cons of an iva what it is really all about.
