Hi, I'm going to have to move back in with my parents? Please advise if storage costs are an allowable expense. I am going to have to go from owning a house to owning one bedroom. Also, I would have to pay rent, council tax, utility bills etc. What backup would the IP need for incomings and outgoings? The bills will be in my parents names. Thanks

Storage costs should be acceptable and a letter from your parents should be fine to show how much you contribute.

Storage would be ok in my opinion, and a rent/board payment to your parents would also be ok as well. I would query though, as I'm sure your creditors would, why you were paying a rent payment AND council tax, utilities as well. There may be a perfectly legitimate reason for doing so, and if so then fine, but do expect to at least be asked the question.
