Hi there

Does it only happen to me or are BE so big that they cannot treat you like an individual???

What it is every 6 months I have to send payslips in and for the first year of the Iva they asked for them, but now they still ask for them but make out that I have ignored a letter they haven't sent.

IMPORTANT - DO NOT IGNORE
DOCUMENTS OUTSTANDING

Despite previous correspondence (what correspondence???) we still have not received all of your last 6 moths wages slips blah blah blah

When I ring to give them a bollocking all they say is its a computer generated letter.

Sorry for going on and I'm sure there are more pressing issues going on but its so maddening grrrr

Cheers John

Hi
There is a lot to be said for using small companies where you are a person and not a number

Computer generated letters are not the problem here - but the person who inputs the data to make the computer issue the letters. It must be very irritating to have to keep dealing with the same issues time and time over, but of course we do all make the occasional mistake.

Yes Andy I choose the first IVA place I found and that was before I found IVA.co.uk :-(

The occasional mistake lol, does every 6 months count in that phase hehe

No! You make a good point John, and I do hope that Blair Endersby manage to sort this out for you.

CGL's they are enough to strike fear into anyone, i get them a lot from BE, it's unsettling and wakes you up instantly the moment you open the letter, but it's no biggy, i think i had 3 sent on one day, randomly and then a letter the following day stating there had been some problem and to disregard the previously letters, they are a huge firm and sometimes systems just do there thing, when i do get a call from BE it's actually quite a relief to be able to speak to a human being at the end of the line, and in all honesty i find BE staff quite pleasant and professional to speak to. Double edged sword, i fear them, and appreciate them at the same time, in a mediating kind of way, i'm waffling.

waffle away quark, its funny you say that, I have spoken to some very rude and obnoxious staff at BE but ever since I made a official compliant about a certain individual for being rude etc etc the staff have been polite and pleasant like you say so maybe they have a note on my account BE NICE TO THIS CUSTOMER!!! lol

Dunno about that ! maybe i've got the same, CUSTOMER HAS DODGY TICKER, DO NOT RAISE YOUR VOICE OR BE UNREASONABLE IN ANY WAY, ha ha ha. Like i say BE are a huge firm, i'm sure they have their targets, a fair share of irate and fearful clients roaring down the phone at them, the first year seems to be the hardest, in terms of stress, adjustment etc etc. It's in everyone's interest to make sure the IVA is a success, loads fail in the first year, sometimes it's felt as if BE are another creditor, however i do appreciate the work they have, and are continuing to do in order for me to rehabilitate financially and keeping the real creditors happy.

Think I have the same note - I did say to them it shouldn't take and official complaint and threat of ombudsman to give me a decent level of customer service. Oddly, I haven't had any of these computer generated letters.

BE do have some new staff who are actively sorting out known problems and they have assured me they do look in on this forum too - so maybe there will be an end to these letters.

I've been in my IVA since the start of October 08, and I havne't heard a thing from them as of yet....should I be worried about this because when I've looked through te forums, a lot of people seem to have regular contact with their company.
I might just call them to say hi lol [:p]

I wouldn't worry about it. As long as you hear from them when it's time for your annual review that should be enough.

Your IVA must be running smoothly!

Welcome to the forum by the way.

well Nyu welcome to the forum, (my first welcome) if you haven't heard anything then that's probably a good thing in my opinion. I dont normally hear anything unless its computer generated letter lol at annual review and 6 month wage slips time, mind you, you probably should have been asked for wage slips by now unless they only do them yearly with newer IVA
