I know there's been a topic on this already but thought I would start a new one and explain my circumstances.

I left the Royal Air Force in early 2007 and 'fell on hard times' and shortly after I found myself commencing an IVA agreement. However I managed to find myself a decent job and was fine until last Xmas when I was made redundant on 24th Dec. I am now going throught the application process for the Army (MPGS). I have just over 2 and a half years to go on IVA, is this going to stop me getting in or cause any other problems?

Hi there and welcome to the forum

I imagine that you will fill out the usual security check and financial questionnaires as part of your application. I am unsure whether the IVA will affect you being accepted by the MPGS, but I certainly have clients who are serving with that branch and they have not had to disclose their IVAs to their employers.

Thank you very much for the reply. I guess it's just a waiting game!

Good luck - I very much enjoyed my own Army career, and as you are ex-RAF that must be a distinct advantage.
