i have a fully settled full & final IVA and a termination certifiacte dated March09. I am being hounded by Abbey who keep writing me to chase for an alleged debt of £6k. My IP sates this is the remaining amount after (amount of debt less dividend amount)= remaining debt. I understand that I do not need to pay this amount but how can i stop Abbey constantly chasing fro this alleged remaining debt? They have written to me yesterday stating that they have now transferred the debt to CapQuest who will no doubt step up the anti on chasing for a payment - ridiculous! any davice please?

Threaten to report them to the Financial Ombusdmen for harassment - this should do the trick.
