If i want to become an accountant will an iva prevent me from getting a job in this field?

Unfortunately I believe you cannot be a chartered accountant whilst Insolvent - I may be wrong so apologies if I am...I am sure an expert will be along shortly.

Hi
I think it depends on what sort of accountant you want to be. I'm in an IVA and currently studying to be a Management Accountant through CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) The IVA doesn't affect my qualification at all

Mos of the regulatory bodies do not bar entrance to study on grounds of having an IVA, and you can have a practising certificate whilst in an IVA but not bankruptcy.
Which qualification do you intend to pursue?
