Hi,
First post in the forum. I'm Si, 26. I took out an IVA earlier this year following 4 years of hell fighting off creditors from debt gathered in my student years. No surprise there's a banking crisis when banks were giving naive 21 year olds with minimal income £10,000 credit cards for fun. How I've learnt my lesson, and grown up. I can see the road the freedom though, thanks to the great posts on this forum and the helpful service at PayPlan.
Anyway, I currently live alone but plan to marry next year. Should this be declared? As far as I'm aware I am the one liable and not my future wife. I do not want to enrol her into my mistakes. I understand that my income/expenditure will naturally change should we live together, and will have to be declared. I just want to be sure.
Cheers - another note of thanks, these forums are a supporting voice when you think you're all alone in this situation!
