I have done some research and spoken with Grant Thornton regarding an IVA. My question is should I go to an independent and smaller firm such as Melanie Giles or would Grant Thornton be a good firm for my IVA.

				Hi,
It is entirely your decision and nobody can influence it for you.
I believe Grant Thornton have a good reputation but if you are looking for a smaller firm with excellent customer service then maybe Melanie Giles will be the best bet.
Just remember you are tied in to whoever you choose for 5 years so ultimately you need to make the right choice.

I think it is always wise to speak to a oouple of firms before deciding which one suits your needs best. But suffice to say that if I needed to do an IVA (and I am not allowed to supervise my own!) Grant Thornton would be at the top of my list!
