Hello, me and my partner are 9 months into our IVA. i am extremely worried about what will happen as i am now pregnant and due in march, meaning i wont be getting that much money etc......how will this affect my iva terms? i am so worried it will be cancelled...

crazychic speak to your IP and see what they can do for you. In any event I'm sure an "expert" on here will reply. Oh and many congratulations on your expected arrival!

First of all congratulations on your pregnancy. The others are totally right. Speak to your IP and your payments can be restructured to take into account the change in circumstances.

Lots of my clients have had babies through their IVAs and managed - sometimes with a bit of juggling, and often with a specific variation to reduce payments whilst you are off work on maternity leave. Have a chat with your own IP to see what they suggest.
