Hi,

Recently completed my IVA a couple of years early for a F&F settlement.

My credit profile is looking much better, though Egg has not updated their records and want me to contact them to confirm I have completed things...

Anyway, now that I have completed things I am considering becoming an IFA as I work in the industry and seems like a good move.

I was wondering if by having not such a great credit history would this affect things in anyway or could I become an IFA without any issues? I have completed my IVA now in any case.

Thanks

Aaron firstly well done on completing your IVA. I recall Melanie Giles stating a while back that sometimes your experience of an IVA can be a benefit in the job:)

Thanks. Yes, that's probably right.

I was wondering really if it will affect my chances of becoming an IFA. I thought that you have to have good credit as your credit history will be checked and things like that.

I second all of that. Andy Davie is a true role model for debt rehabilitation.
