Hi,
I had a letter arrive today from a firm i thought i had included on my iva. It turns out that that for one reason or another it was overlooked. To add to that when i changed banks as instructed no payments were made. This firm never wrote to me with reminders so i now find myself on the end of a bailiffs letter. Please help!!!

Hi John, you need to speak to your IP about this as soon as possible and they will be able to help you.

There is no harm in speaking to the company involved as like Ladyh says it might buy you some time.

The creditor is probably bound within the IVA in any case, and this is a simple matter for your IP to deal with John if you send them the paperwork.

I had this problem I had forgotten about a creditor. It didn't make a huge difference to my IVA because it was only a few hundred quid.....in the grand scheme of my debts! I printed off the result of the search of the INsolvency Register and handed it to the bailiff whilst he was at the door! Problem solved!

We missed two off that we didn't know about and they were both later included within the IVA. It doesn't take long to do.
