just out of interest it doesnot seem creditors go for ccj much these days is it because they would get less or does it cost them money

There are Court fees involved in applying for judgements, but these are usually added to the debt and paid by the debtor. I have not noticed a downturn in the level of judgements generally, where have you read this jim?
