Can anyone suggest a body that would be interested in taking on an ex-IVA patriot into getting a mortgage... Never had one before and although getting close to 48 years and not many left for the mortgage calcs, I would not want to be ripped off based on my 6 year happy pill of plunder??????

Hi, I used Tony Parson for my remortgage (pre-IVA) and hope to use him again to remortgage in year 4 as per IVA terms, (dependant upon equity). Might be worth giving him a ring even if only to get his expert advice? I think Melanie was going to ask him to add his contact details to his details in the experts section, haven't checked if they're there or not. All the best and hope you find something.

Tony Parsons is a good place to start but I would also recommend looking at HSBC. They were one of the few high street banks who would give you a mortgage after your IVA had been completed 1 year. They dont deal with brokers and I would apply in branch as you can show them copies of certificates of completion ect.
Things may have changed but this was the case when they gave us a mortgage 6 months ago.
