Hi Sue and welcome to the forum, you've taken a good first step in making the decision to contact Melanie Giles, she has an excellent reputation and comes highly recommended by many.

I can't comment on what you should pay really and hopefully one of the professionals and maybe Melanie herself will be along shortly to advise on this.

Hi Sue and welcome to the forum.

If you are going to be contacting Melanie after the New Year then I wouldn't worry too much about the payments. If you are going to be making any token payments, you should make them pro rata.

I would save the money though to put away as a little contingency fund and also towards and initial IVA payment if you are suitable for one.

Be aware though that you will get phone calls from your creditors almost immediately.

Hi Sue

Please don't worry about missing payments to creditors right now - I and my team are back at work tomorrow and please call or e-mail us even if you just want to have a chat about things - or if you want to leave it until the New Year that is fine too. There is bound to be a solution out there for you, and will be pleased to help you find it.
