I have just been discharged from bankruptcy and wondered if anyone could help me with a couple of things.
I am currently unemployed. Now I have been discharged, do I still have to tell my trustee when I (fingers crossed) get a job & will I have to pay towards my debts if I have a surplus of £100+?
What do I do if my creditors start to chase me again?
I am still obligated to co-operate with my trustee. What does this mean & how long do I have to co-operate for?
It's all quite confusing?
Thanks

Hi Liz21 and welcome to the forum, I unfortunately do not have the answers you're looking for but welcome you personally and reassure that someone who does have the answers will be along very soon.

If you have been discharged from bankruptcy you no longer have to dislose details of your income to your Trustee - and creditors will not chase you as you are now discharged from your debts.
I hope you manage to find a job soon.

I was discharged in October of last year and I literally cried with joy. Then I got a job the following week!
Its a wonderful feeling to have my wages to myself and not have to disclose spending to anyone and actually be able to save money and treat myself
I actually found B/R no where near as painful as I thought it would be and its nice to know I am free to get on with life with no restrictions

Mark Skippy's blog is very informative, I'm not bankrupt but put my mind at rest when I thought for a moment I was going to declare bankruptcy.
