Had the day off for valuer to come round and one of my creditors has called on the mobile 15 times and 5 times at home. I was starting to feel intimidated and spoke to my Angie my IP with Melanie Giles Co, so reassuring feel much better now.

Don't let them get to you. They can't do anything and I know Mel's team will sort you out.

Yes don't let them get you down. Stay calm, be firm and refer them to your IP if they want to pursue the matter. I'd also calmly mention to them that 20 calls is harassment.
Do you still have on-line access to any accounts, this account in particular? If you do, I'd delete your telephone numbers if you can. You never know it might make a difference as it seemed to do on one of my accounts when I was starting my IVA journey.

I'm afraid I wouldn't be polite with them. They shouldn't be doing this now and I'd let them have it both barrels!

what would happen if I barred the number as this is getting silly now, would this jepodise my IVA proposal?

Sorry, I thought you were already in an IVA.
However, barr the number, change your phone numbers (I did) or refuse to answer the security questions so they cannot continue with the call.
It will make no difference to your application. These are call centre bullies working on commission and will try anything to get you to pay,

Hello
When I started looking at the IVA I got a cheap mobile pay as you go. I gave that number to all the people I know and familly. I asked them to contact me on this at all times and didnt say why. Then for the months leading up to the IVA and after I never even bothered answering my house phone and just turned it off. In all that time I never had any conversation with anyone and carried out all contact with everyone by letter--it worked and I never had the stress of intimidating calls
good luck

They are really irritating aren't they, but I am glad that Ang has been able to reassure you. Don't hesitate to call us whenever you are feeling low or having a problem - that is what we are here for!

I would definitley barr the number if you can.
You have chosen an excellent IP company and I wish they were all as supportive as Melanie's [:)]
