Hi
Your IP will need to verify balances so latest statements or communications are the easiest way to do this. Your IP will also need to check statements to check that your expenditurte on main expenses is accurate and that there are no unusual transactions

Hi Albatross2,
Just be completely open with your IP because you are entering into a long term partnership and no one will want any surprises if you want the IVA to work and be affordable. Your IP will be there to help you with your initial proposal and through out its duration and therefore will need all of your details to do this. You could always contact creditors for a settlement figure if you have no current statements etc.

I have never yet had to provide a bank statement.
I thnk it all depends on your IP.

What is worrying you about having to produce your bank statements, Albatross2?

I sent all mine to Melanie's team although not asked for, it just has all the little things on like sky payment, car insurance etc and confirms what goes in and out. I even sent pass port scans (so Melanie knows how handsome I really am

) I felt the more info the better in assessing the situation.

Oh I say Darkdog! I wonder who Mr Feb etc. is?
Seriously if bank statements were requested I'd send them without a thought, however, my IP doesn't require them.

Oh Mel! That's not a good comparison! I'm sure that's not true.
I never take a good photograph and my passport one is terrible.
