hiya i am a self employed taxi driver and need to replace my car through finance or loan is there anyway this could happen.

hi laura hope andy,s advice is helpful,have you considered renting a taxi,and are there any pitfalls ,regarding renting to owning,just a general question out of interest.good luck with your iva your getting there.

Was this envisaged within the IVA proposal, with allowance being made for the cost of a replacement vehicle? This is something I would always look to do for self-employed persons who rely on a car to earn their living - such as taxi-drivers or driving instructors.

when we went into the iva i werent self employed i was in a full time job that went into administration.

Then I think you have good grounds for this expenditure to be allowed, providing you can find someone prepared to finance you.
