This is kind of a follow on post to the IT chap looking for work.

Perhaps it would be comforting to know how many of you have changed your jobs while in a IVA, also the approx date you may have done this.

I changed while i was in and IVA to a big corporate company that did do check on Bankrupcy this was wheni was about 6 months in but i was just honest with them and explainexd it all up front and it wasnt an issue in the slightest...... and i am now a buyer, Ironic

ive had 2 or three jobs .....not been a problem for us..one job only lasted 8months was horrible.dont let the iva stop you ...

Have you found any through agencies?

I'm a buyer as well, I changed jobs just as my IVA started and again about six months ago (I'm halfway through now). Didn't cause any problems for me either time. In fact I think my creditors were probably delighted as the subsequent pay increases have meant that I'll be paying off my debt in full.

The first one was direct and my current job was through an agency.

There are a lot of jobs you can get whilst in an IVA. You just need to check the criteria before applying for them.

You also need to make sure that you are still able to maintain your payments.
