What restriction does an iva have on you generally for example could I still hire a car for the day or rent a flat?is it true you get credit scored for jobs?

For some jobs you may have to be credit checked unfortunately. You should be able to hire a car depending upon how they want paying for it.

You should be able to rent a flat - again it depends on the criteria of the person you wish to rent from. They may credit check you.

You'll probably find it harder to rent as flat via an agency as you will be credit checked. However its not impossible as other posters have shown.

It does depend on your job,as Jan says some jobs are credit checked, so if asked its always best to be honest.
