Hi, Longtime since my last post. I received today yet another statement from Halifax (RBS). Bearing in mind my IVA was completed two years ago does anyone know how long the Halifax will carry on sending out statements which are a waste of paper and money. I wont say I will ever forget about the IVA or the amount of debt I was in but it would be nice to move forward without reminders every few months.
Its great to be debt free and I still dont miss the use of CCs[:)].

Hi
There is new law that creditors have to send a statement once a year.
There is nothing to be concerned about

Whilst I understand they are supposed to send out the statements there surely must be a time scale when these will stop. Otherwise I would still be getting them when I am 65. Strange thing (thankfully) is not many of my creditors send me statements. It just seems to be RBS and Barclays.

Hi
Sorry, I misread the post.
As the IVA is completed you no longer have a debt so should not receive any communication. I suggest you write to them with your IVA details and a copy of the completion statement.
