I am in year 2 of my IVA. I have the chance to change jobs to a car dealership. They are FSA regulated and I have to disclose if i have outstanding CCJ's or ever been declared bankrupt. Will the IVA prevent me from accepting this position? many thanks

IVAs are not an automatic bar with regards to the FSA. However, your new employer may have a different policy and it would be best to be upfront. If the IVA showed up later you would almost certainly be dismissed for non disclosure.

Did you have any CCJ's prior to your IVA?

Yes I did end up with CCJ's towards the end as our insolvency company went into liquidation and had to transfer to a new one which obviously took alot of time to reach acceptance. I amunder the impression that the IVA overwrites the CCJ'S ?

The CCJs will still be registered but cannot be enforced. They would show up on a credit search so you should advise the new company about the IVA and let them make the decision with all the information disclosed.

Hi Kevin welcome to the forum, I hope that by being upfront your new employer will look upon this positively and you get the new position. All the best x
