My IVA practioner (Bridgestones) gave me a Notice of Breach at that time I had missed 2 payments. I was told that if i missed another payment within the next 24 months my IVA will fail and a Certificate of Notifiction would be issued. Unfortunately we were unable to make this months payment as i had to pay my car tax. Whenever I speak to my contact at Bridgestones i find her unhelpful, and at times patronising. I am in the process of drafting a letter to send to Bridgestones asking for a new income and expenditure to be drawn up. We'll wait to see what happens!!

Hi rudolph, do you not have an allowance for car tax within your Income and expenditure allowances?

Hi
No one wants your IVA to fail. Speak with your Insolvency Practitioner and try to work out a way forward, this may be by having your payments reduced.

I am suprised to see a Notice of Breach being served at the two month point - is this a specific term of your arrangement?

And if you are not happy with the member of staff you are dealing with, ask to deal with the IP personally. Nothing better than getting information from the horse's mouth!

If the office staff won't let you speak to the IP, try emailing them directly via this link:
