Iva approved!
Just received a phone call from Tomas at the Iva Advice bureau confirming that our interlocking Iva’s have been approved.
What a relief it was to receive the good news and cannot thank the team at the Iva Advice Bureau enough ( Tina, Angela, Tamsyn, Tomas and Melanie Giles) for the fantastic effort and support that we have received from them over the last couple of months.
Melanie really does have a very dedicated and efficient team working with her, and we have both been overwhelmed with the effort that they have shown on our behalf.

There were a few modifications, but they were concerning the fees and one concerning board and lodge for our children, this will come into effect when they get older and are in a position to contribute.
Apart from that they were accepted as per proposal.

Well done, it will take a little while to all sink in now! [:)]

My guys are simply the best - even if I say so myself. I am very proud of my team, and really good news to know that your cases have been accepted. Look forward to working with you over the next few years.

I get the impression that the modification involves them paying board and lodging when they are older, which is only fair.

Skippy is right - they can contribute to the household and therefore your DI will increase.

I think that this clause is to compensate for the loss of child benefit and tax credits. Basically any reduction in income from these will have to be made up in the form of board and lodgings from the kids when they turn eighteen.
I have the same in mine
