Barclays do have a habit of continuing with calls after acceptance, and it could well be that DML are unaware of your IVA.
Speak to your IP and ask them to have a word.

This is something that eternally worries me.
IF I get my IVA approved....will the letters and phone calls keep coming?
Am I right that if I am in an IVA I am fully protected and there's nothing that can be done?
I dread to think what will happen if it's rejected, but if it's approved and I continue to get harrassed and chased, that would worry me too....
I am a natural worrier, but these horror stories of people still being chased after an IVA has been set up do scare me.

As we have discussed at length the IVA gives you protection from creditors who are bound by the arrangement, once it has been accepted.
You will get ongoing correspondence probably as the lenders update their systems - but this should cease after a couple of weeks.

Thanks Melanie. Sorry I'm just being particularly negative this evening. You know what I'm like...I just have this sinking feeling and will struggle to sleep tonight! Time to dig out the prozac I think!
I know I should just relax but it's so hard.

Well stop it!!! By this time tomorrow you will know the result of the creditors meeting, so try and have an early night and not think too much about something which is now out of your hands.

I'm sure everything will be ok.
I'll be looking forward to a positive post tomorrow!

I consider myself told off! [:)]
Thanks Melanie - you have been so great during these last couple of months and whatever the outcome, I am very very grateful at what you have done.

I found this with a company called Moorcroft....Basically told them my situation and the fct I was in an IVA they ended up apologising and saying the debt shouldn't of been sold on by Argos if an IVA had been approved... Just tell them what your doing and send them a letter to show the IVA has been accepted

As far as I am aware, companies can sell debts on after an IVA has been approved.
My Barclays debt wasn't sold to Max Recovery until afterwards.

I have a worse day than you tomorrow sunkendrailer. I have to go to the dentist and have a filling. Just as well he is extremely good looking otherwise I would be running a mile. So no sleep for me tonight either - I am terrified.
