Hubby and I entered into an IVA in April this year. Feeling pretty low about the whole situation, as money is tight and we have to watch our budget on a daily basis. My question is..as most of the debt we owe is to certain banks, can either of us make a claim against a bank for unwanted PPI on loans, please?

Hi, and welcome to the forum.

Sorry to hear that you are struggling.

If you do make a claim about PPI, it will either go towards the debt with that creditor, or be paid into your IVA. It won't make any difference to your payments. Your creditors will just receive a higher dividend.

You need to speak to your IP if things are really bad.

If you are really struggling, perhaps your I&E needs looking at again. Have a word with your IP.
