who would be the best re-mortgage company to assist with the 4th year contract payment of equity.

Hi,

To be honest I think it would be pretty hard to remortgage with anyone whilst in an IVA. I would think what will happen is that you will have to pay a further years payments on your IVA.

Speak to your IP and see where you stand.

I agree that it will be difficult. I have to try my own company and one other but I'm resigned to having to carry on for another twelve months.

I don't think I know of any mortgage company which is lending to people in IVAs right now.

My 4th year equity release clause kicks in soon, I e'mailed my Supervisor and asked what happens if I cant remortgage or there is no equity available?
The answer was they would ask my creditors for the asset to be removed from the arrangement, no mention of an extra 12 payments, I'm keeping my fingers crossed, big time.
