hi, i am starting to panic a little now. My husband has been in an IVA for 2yrs this month we fell behind with payments during this time due to his work going slack and now it is happening again. He earned £2000 more last yr than he predicted but so far this year his wages have been about £100 per week down. On top of this due to his earnings last yr our child tax credits look like they will stop so we will be an extra £180 per month down and the IVA never asked what payments I had to make for any of my creditors (the IVA is in my husbands name only) I pay £440 a month for my creditors. Although our mortgage has fell by £200 per month we are still at a shortfall and I have just done an income and expenditure to look at and before paying the IVA we are about £60 down per month for what we need.....SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!

It may be that you should consider some form of insolveny yourself and your husband's payments could be varied downwards.

Your husband's creditors are unlikely to accept his payments to date as full and final if you are still paying £440 per month to your creditors.

I know this might make me sound stupid but i don't understand what you mean in your last paragraph, sorry!
