Hi there, a step in the right direction today for you to start your journey to debt freedom. I hope it works out positively for you.

I didn't owe Natwest anything, HSBC were my main creditor so I can't comment on them but do know someone who had them as a creditor will be along very soon. x

I had a credit card and overdraft with them, they pestered me a little with phone calls but once I told them I was going for an IVA they seemed very helpful. Granted I didn't owe as much as you to them but far more to other creditors. Not everyone voted at my creditors meeting but those that did all voted in favour so don't worry too much. Any IP will only put forward a proposal if they think it'll be accepted.

I think Natwest are quite supportive of IVAs.

I think its very much an individual case by case thing and shows that if the best offer is on the table it will be supported.

I generally see little problem with NatWest accepting the IVA proposals I put forward to clients, and as long as you are seen to be making the best offer available you should not have any problems on the day of the creditors meeting.
