Hi can you tell me what regular checks is carried out during the iva? Is it done every 3-4 months or once a year? Do they check wage slips/bank account?

Hi,
Welcome to the forum
There is a annual review, although I believe some company's want wage slips every 3 or 4 months, most company's seem to only want wage slips, P60 (some company's not all) and bank statements.

Some company's like to check 3 months of pay slips every 6 months, but it all depends on the company you use.

AS Plasticdaft has said it depends on the compay mine (Synergi now Clear Debt) have only asked for last 3 wage slips and never bank statements at the annual review.

We're with cleardebt and just done annual review. We had to send off P60s, last wage slips and bank statements and were asked to send receipts for anything that had increased by more than 10%. We'd both had modest annual payrises which were offset against increased fuels costs etc meaning our payments stayed the same.

When we have had any overtime, we've always sent those payslips off too but not all the rest.

We are with Varden Nuttal and have to send hubbies pay slips every 6 months. For the annual review its payslips for hubby and accounts for my self as I am self employed. A new I&E to show any increase in expenditure. No bank statements since set up.

I'm with Payplan and all they want is 3 wage sheets and P60 at my annual review, nothing else during the course of the year

Hi John.mc,

As the other posters have said, it does vary depending on the company. Who are you with?

I'm sure Michael Peoples will pick up on this one and tell you what you will need.

I'm with Payplan, same as Endsmeet, but I have to send quartery payslips and have never yet provided a P60!

Hi

If our IVA is accepted we are told that are reviews are annually, with Debt Life Boat.

But can anyone answer me as I have a concern. Our family who live in Kent send birthday money to the children in a form off a cheque , not normally more than £30, but this has to clear in our bank account and then we either buy the children the gift or give them the money. But when the review is looked at will we be questioned over this and asked to pay some back??.

Thanks
Sam x

Hi Hammie, that will be fine, gifts to you or your children are fine within an IVA x
