Hi there...not too long to wait now.

Personally we never made any token payments, we saved the money for contingency and to ensure we could make the 1st payment. Its a personal choice, but if you are making token payments, you should pay all your creditors fairly. It doesn't have any bearing on the result of your meeting.

Good luck xx

Hi Chelle

Just heard today that my creditors meeting is 7th Sept. I haven't made any payments since the middle of June so I am really relieved to finally have a date to tell them all. Most creditors have been really understanding, but it hasn't stopped a million phone calls and letters from coming in even though I have never missed a payment in the past.

Stay strong. It's not long now [:)]

Good luck for the 8th sidebyside.

We never made any payments either, but the choice is yours.

Good luck for the 7th Brightside.

I personally didn't make any payments to my creditors from my initial contact with my chosen IP. Good luck with the meeting and do let us know how it goes won't you? x

do u not think that it looks better to make even a small payment? arent they just less likely to decline him by not making payment or doesnt it matter ?

I don't think it matters either way chelle, whether you make payments or not as long as the best proposal is on the table the creditors will vote accordingly. x

It makes no difference at all Chelle.

I paid nothing for four months and had no problems.

As far as I know, the creditors do not take into account any token payments made . I'm not aware of any proposals that have been swayed by token payments,

I don't think any of them have.

I'm not even sure that the department who vote will be aware of whether any token payments have been made or not.

Good luck to both of you. Easier said thean done, but try to relax, your work is done now for the minute you've just got to leave it in the hands of the professionals. We did make token payments of £10 per creditor but they still rang and sent letters to tell us it wasn't enough. Heres to a debt free 2015 for us all !!!

Good luck! I haven't made any token payments (no payments at all since April - eek!). I found the phone calls tailed off before the creditors meeting both times (this is my second attempt)

All the best of luck fivebyfive. I never made any payments for the three months my to my creditors meeting and all bar one creditor voted in favour of my proposal. It`s a good job I didn`t too, because whatever could break down has done so in the last two months.
