No idea Traceman. Hopefully Declan can pick up on this one next week.
The good thing is that you know you have finished.

6 months is rather long, mine took 6 weeks!
Until you get that Certificate any windfalls etc will still be due to creditors!
If yours was a straight forward case I would keep pestering for it or wait until you have it before claiming that lottery win!

I can imagine I'll be the same at conclusion and want my certificate as I'm impatient. Hope you both get them sooner rather than later. xx

To be honest, the fact that I have finished will be enough for me.
I can wait for the certificate.

yes, my case is straight forward, il give it another 5 weeks then that takes it to 3 months and il give them another ring, i think helen who's also on this forum is in the same position as me

For me finality will come with the certificate, I've just finished a further teaching qualification and although I've been told in principle it's passed, I'll be happy when the certificate is here as I never believe it until then.
Is it correct that until the certificate is issued windfalls etc., need to be declared? x

I believe so, which is why it is important to get hold of that certificate and not leave a windfall clause hanging over your head forever.

same here lol, even then your name could be on the insolvency register for another 3 months after receiving your certificate like another poster explained in this forum, at least we will all be debt free though [:D]

I know I have already sang my IVA firms praises, but I received my Certificate of Completion within two weeks of my IVA finishing, and my name disappeared off the insolvency register a week later!

That's great news Struggling63, I can only wish that the other IP firms take a leaf out of their book and send the certificates out / remove details from the register without undue delay.

One for Declan I think - you need this certificate now - you have stopped paying so therefore you should be free from it ! Six months is too long - a couple maybe !
