i have a debt now with my mobile company - i cancelled my contract after i started my iva can it be included in my iva now. I only started my iva in june

Hi Hilary,
You would need to speak to your IP about this. Is there any reason why you cancelled your contract when this would have been allowed fo in your IVA?

You can included the debt now, but I do wonder why this was not thought of before the IVA was presented. Have you managed to get another contract, or have you reverted to Pay As You Go?

I had my mobile contract before i went into iva.Got a bill 4 roaming charges when was visiting friends for weekend - bill was 160 & could not afford o pay it. 02 cancelled my contract in july meaning i had to pay remaining 11 months on contract as well - 800 quid. Can i add this to my iva?

As far as I'm aware you won't be able to include the mobile debt in your IVA as it was incurred after the IVA was agreed.

So long as all of the charges on the account are pre IVA, there is no real reason why this cannot be included - but anything relating to the post IVA period will be a debt you will have to cover.

Mel, do you mean the charges can be included if they are pre-IVA?
