Just had my IVA approved today, Payplan have been great in reassuring us, between us we had £65000 of debt mostly RBS and AA finance and several credit cards, we are paying back 71p in pound, process has been so smooth, hopes this info helps some else, look forward to being part of the community.

Hi Welcome aboard!
Im a newbie myself, just started the process, got my first discussion with my IP tomorrow, we owe about 53K and have been advised we can pay back about 70p in the pound.
How long did it take from 1st discussion to approval?
Thanks
C

Hi
Congratulations, that is a very good dividend and if you pay in a share of any bonus and overtime during the five years you will increase that dividend even more.
Do you have an equity release clause within your IVA ?

Hi Andy we do have an equity release clause, at the moment we are near negative equity due to house prices reducing (did have about £30,000 equity at one time) so there has to be more than £10'000 to remotgage I can see us paying for up to 6 years but we dont mind.

Hi, it was about 6 weeks from start to finish, send back any paper work as soon as you can, good luck with your application.
