Confusion over credit rating- I've just been reading the very comprehensive FAQ section on the Vincent Bond website and one thing threw me- it says that the iva will remain in your credit file for 6 years following the completion of the iva...does that mean 11 years from the set up of the IVA?! Similarly it says bankruptcy is 6 years from discharge, I always thought it was 6 years from the date of the BO.

I am currently undergoing major procrastination of which route o choose to draw a line under my debts, but i think if an IVA is going to mean a shot credit file for 11 years then BR might win for me.

No, it is for six years from the date of acceptance of your IVA and the same for bankruptcy.

Hi
This info is wrong
The IVA is on your credit file for 6 years from when it starts, bankruptcy is also on your file from six years from when it starts
