Hi
We are currently in a fixed Santander mortgage, which we had two separate loans which had different fix end dates (I managed to secure a fix on the first one in May of this year). However, I have just found out that they won't offer me a fixed rate on my other loan which is due to expire in February 2011. I have been in an IVA since 2007 and this is the first time I have had a problem. Has anyone else been experiencing problems with Santander? We have never missed a mortgage payment and have been customers for over 15 years! Can anyone recommend a good broker that deals with mortgages for people in IVAs? I have heard that even when we go onto the variable (which is cheaper than our current fixed rate), they can choose what they charge us!
Any help/advice would be appreciated as I am really worrying about this now and how it will affect our IVA which we have been paying for almost 4 years!
