Happy new year all, just took a minute out to say we have some good news to share...at last.
Baby Amirah was born yesterday at 9.11am weighing in at a 6lb 8oz. All went well and while it was a very emotional time for obvious reasons, both Nicky and baby are well and home. She is an absolute cutie, and has filled the home with hope again:)
Thank you again for all for your support and once i get pictures up on FB I will let you see our newest little princess.

As an update, Nicky and the baby are both well and home, (6hour turnaround) so the girls and I can spoil them both rotten now. So so nice to have a house full of cuddles and smiles.

Thank you all so much, as you can imagine I am thrilled she is safely here and that Nicky is well, if totally exhausted. Baby is fine so time to concentrate on getting Nicky back to fighting health, she is very anemic they discovered but plenty of time to feed her up and spoil her. I am sure we will have some more ups and downs on this journey, but New Life is new Hope and at the moment we are all enjoying the warm fuzzy feeling that a new baby brings.
Thank you all for your thoughts and good wishes, it really does mean a lot:)

Goosed -- it is Arabic for "Princess" (My grand daughter also enjoys that name)
