I'm watching the end - I can't believe that the electrician was surprised that the IP took fees from his payments. Did he seriously expect that the work would be done for nothing?

It's worth watching - particularly the bloke who did an IVA and is whinging about the fees payable? Talk about biased!

I would love to know the companies they are talking about!

My thoughts exactly! Doesn't put the IP companies in a good light if people think along his lines though does it?

I presume that he does his electrical work for free!

It doesn't give a good impression of IVAs unfortunately.

Its interesting that he failed to mention the amount of his debt that was written off at the end of 5 years

Unless he was paying back the full 100p in the pound and interest and fees I really cannot understand why he was complaining.

This is really bad for anyone in debt watching also, I feel that if I had seen this programme when I was desperate and scared I think I may have topped myself. Not that I was far from that at times if I am honest. How can the people watching that have debt now and really need a solution? I am sure there would have been some people in the same mess as us watching.

I totally agree Lily - it would be enough to scare anyone to death if they didn't know where to get advice. I didn't see all of it - did they put up any contact numbers or website details?

No details at all. We know about these sort of companies, it's a pity we can't get this out to more people.
