just done an experian credit check, post 6 year IVA
got a good score, but a comment "negative effect bankrupt on last 6 years" what does this mean and can i get it removed now?

Hi - i may have misread but you have finished an IVA.

But you
refer to Bankruptcy - Experian refer to Bankruptcy being on your report for a "minimal of 6 years" - longer depends on condition and length of Banruptcy.

Iva and bankruptcy completely diffrent - so if your report refers to bankruptcy then needs to be changed

have been informed if we send experian a copy of our completion cert the comment will be removed within a day or two as we are post 6 years

Good - also have also look (Unles you have) at the above leaflet from Experian about IVA - you may find it useful :-).

How you doing rebuilding you credit?

red the leaflet quickly, and i think we can get comment removed easily
our score is quite high 900ish so its looking good

The IVA should certainly have dropped off by now - check that there are no defaults added after the date of IVA acceptance as well.
