Morning all - very sleepless night last night...its now 4 days till decision time!
I am going to find the next 4 days a struggle.
Even though I am in work - I cannot concentrate, luckily Wednesday will be spent working @ home so only 3 days to deal with in work and hopefully by Friday I will have the decision I am looking for!
My boss is aware of my situation so I know there is no pressure on me on the work front this week but all the same...its such a nervous time!

Hi Susie
Best of luck with everything and I fully appreciate how nerve wracking it can be. Do remember that your IP wouldn’t put forward a proposal unless they felt it had every chance of been accepted.
Thanks

I can't believe how quickly it's come round! You've put your best offer forward and they'll bite your arm off xx

I know BOL it has come around quickly...only been 6 weeks since my initial call to Cleardebt.
Deep down I feel quite confident but there is a part of me that won't let me get carried away just yet.
This is the first wage in years that I have not paid any Min Payments and I have money in the bank - it seems very very strange!
I know i am offering a good return @ 62/£ - and when I see others posting a return of less and being accepted it does give me a wee boost!
I know there are others with their meetings this week and I want to wish them all lots of luck also

Given the state the country is in with insolvencies on the up creditors will gladly settle for some return! Good luck.

Hi Susieq73 - I know its easier said than done but the decision is coming whether you have a stressful few days or whether you try and think positively and act as though it is going to be fine. Its never definite until the votes are in so how you feel won't change the outcome but it will change how life is for the next few days. We're all there behind you and I am sure you'll be on here posting with a smile on your face before you know it.
Regards,

Thanks All - It was down to this forum that I found the strength to look at my position and do something positive!...
The advice and help on here is a god send especially when you cannot talk friends and family.

Good luck Suzieq, I hope all goes well.
There is nothing like the feeling of getting your financial life back on track, and being able to manage without worrying if the cash machine will give you any money!
I used the same firm as yourself, and have nothing but praise for them, they were sympathetic throughout my IVA, and responded to any questions I had in a timely fashion.

Thanks Struggling - yes so far Cleardebt have been great - everything has been quick and efficient and I've always been able to contact them if I had a query or in the beginning they were contacting me every few days to ensure I had received the paperwork and was ok with it all.
I think I am just frightened to think positively incase it goes belly up!...but part of me is already thinking of the next 5 years and the road to no debt at all!

It's good to have a good company behind you in an IVA one who is contactable is a must.
Glad the forum has helped and I'm sure like others say and I've said before you'll be fine.
It's a great feeling to be on the way to debt freedom and one you'll be experiencing very soon. x
