Think it's best to come clean. I'm still new to this but I don't think you are allowed to do this when in an IVA?

hiya martine,
i would give your ip a call and explain the situation,
i received and read my proposal today and it does clearly state no credit to be taken whilst in an iva, not sure if yours is the same.

I contacted my IP who read the T&Cs of my IVA (I felt like a naughty child listening to the headmaster :o) ) When she'd finished she asked why I did it and i explained that my debts in the first place had been run over several years when I suffering from clinical depression and my dad had found out in late November that he had terminal lung cancer and I started to spiral out of control again - luckily though after a few weeks I realised what I was doing and sought help. She asked why I did it and I wasn't going to lie. I think my honesty threw her a bit because she mumbled that she was sorry and that it would be noted on my file but I had to pay it off asap. I'm glad I spoke to her, so thanks for the advice everyone.
